Serendipity has a name and its name is Blueberry Scotch Bonnet Jam. This happy accident came about when a mix-up during the jam making process has us combine these two items. The sweet blueberry flavor ended up complimenting the fragrant scotch bonnets and giving us this unlikely and delicious pairing. It has some manageable heat from the peppers and the fresh blueberries make us even happier that we were able to make two different blueberry products this year.
This is good on all breakfast items, I especially like it on a sausage biscuit, but for a real out of this world treat, put this on some vanilla ice cream for dessert. This will also shine on a charcuterie and cheese plates.
